The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts has been at the center of Vermont’s cultural landscape for 90 years. During the 19-20 season, Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) was the Flynn’s inaugural community artist-in-residence. Over the course of the year, Daniel had a tremendous impact on our community as well as the Flynn staff. His relationship with the team is built on trust and a shared commitment to using the arts to learn and grow. To help the Flynn navigate numerous staff/structural transitions as well as deepen our organization's commitment to equity and inclusion Daniel will join the Flynn staff as our Creative Chair during the 20-21 season.
