Performing Arts of Northeast Connecticut

Performing Arts of Northeast CT will present 2 performances of the Salt Marsh Opera' abridged version of Rossini's Cinderella to approximately 2000 schoolchildren. To prepare the students, teachers will receive a multi- media, interactive study guide. Prior to the performances, artists will travel to 24 schools to engage children in small, interactive workshops to introduce them to the art form, the music, the story and the characters. All this is provided REE to schoolchildren, primarily in under-served areas.
