The Mahoosuc Arts Council is presenting the powerful vocal quartet, Syncopation, as part of the 2012-13 Gould Performing Arts Series - for its virtuosity in interpreting jazz, bebop, Latin, pop, R&B, soul, folk, fusion and electropop through four-part vocal harmony. As jazz education is largely missing from K-12 curriculum, the council believes this performance series is a unique opportunity to engage our audiences in new artistic experiences within this important and dynamic art form.
