Mahoosuc Arts Council

An outside-of-the-box collaboration of local farms, beekeepers, the Piti Theatre and the Mahoosuc Arts Council will result in an innovative 2-week theater residency next April based on an agricultural theme. The core of the residency is a musical by the Piti Theatre, Too Bee or Not Too Be, inspired by research about honeybees and their role in the food supply. This adaptive project uniquely blends a traditional theater residency with field work that supports the local-foods movement and curriculum relevant environmental-related studies.
