Litchfield Performing Arts has engaged Avery Sharpe for a 3- week residency at Litchfield Jazz Camp followed by a Litchfield Jazz Festival performance with his trio, his Extended Family Choir and his Williams College Gospel Choir. This represents the 1st time gospel will appear at LJF. At LJC Sharpe will teach student combos, theory classes, bass master classes, and perform at free public concerts. He will do a Q & A, sharing his experiences with students over 15 days for 140 hours of instruction.
