Keene State College, Redfern Arts Center on Brickyard Pond

The Redfern Arts Center is presenting the piece Honey Flyers and a new commission for New Hampshire-based Apple Hill String Quartet by Boston composer Christine Southworth. Southworth's work explores the cross-pollination of technology, art and nature, and musics from diverse cultures. This performance is a unique opportunity to connect New England artists and musical genres in performance and with residency activities. Southworth will participate in a pre-show gathering, a workshop with the regional beekeeping community, and a post-show Q&A.
