As part of a 2012-2013 focus on American music, Arts Council of Tamworth (ACT) is bringing Texas bluesman Willie J. Laws and his band to Tamworth to play for and with diverse segments of the community. Willie will offer several workshops/demonstrations to elementary school students and the community at large, and with his band will offer a presentation/performance on the history of the Blues as an indigenous American art form and an evening concert.
