New England Creative Economy Network: Focus on Establishing Creative Spaces

On a beautiful day in June, folks from around New England who are invested (or engaged) in space development for the creative sector met in Providence, RI. They came to meet their peers from other New England communities and to learn about two very different, but very complementary, organizations that have developed important spaces that have changed the landscape of Providence. Public Art Happenings at NEFA

NEFA welcomes art consultant Sarah Hutt! Sarah was previously the director of the Boston Art Commission and managed Boston's public art collection. She will be reviewing NEFA’s Fund for the Arts process and advising on ways to encourage more artists to participate for Fund for the Arts support. She will also oversee this season’s Public Art Discussion Series events.
