Former Program Coordinator, National Dance Project
NEFA

As NEFA’s new program coordinator of the National Dance Project, it is my pleasure to share with you the amazing NDP-supported artists and companies whose new dance projects have been funded through NDP’s Production Grant this year, and are available for touring in the 2014-2015 season. In addition to creation support, these projects have all received an NDP Touring Award which provides a subsidy for nonprofit organizations presenting the work.

Check out our newest publication, which features projects currently eligible for NDP touring support (check back in December 2013 for additional Touring Award projects that will also be eligible - Touring Award deadline is October 7, 2013).

If you are a nonprofit organization interested in bringing any of these projects to your community, contact the project’s tour coordinator listed in the publication and follow the Presentation Grant process.

View the video below to see clips from previous works or works-in-progress by the artists and companies available to tour in 2014-2015.

NEFA’s National Dance Project is generously supported with lead funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, with additional support from the MetLife Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, and funding for special initiatives from the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French American Cultural Exchange. Support from the NEA provides funding for choreographers in the early stages of their careers.
