(Boston, MA ) The New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) is pleased to announce that Audrey Seraphin has joined the organization in the role of Program Manager, Regional Grants and Initiatives.

In this role, Audrey will manage and implement all aspects of NEFA’s suite of New England programs, services, and initiatives that build the capacity of artists and arts organizations through grantmaking, professional development, partnerships, and network building.

Prior to joining NEFA, Audrey worked with the City of Boston’s Mayor’s office under Mayors Walsh, Janey, and Wu, directing SPARK Boston, a volunteer civic engagement council for 20- to 35-year-old Bostonians. As part of that work, she served on grant review panels for the Boston Cultural Council and on the DEI committee at the Boston Planning & Development Agency. Earlier work included roles at Arts Boston, The Front Porch Arts Collective, and Central Square Theater, where Audrey focused on building membership and cultivating audiences, organizing and executing events, and more. She is a founding member of the Network of Arts Administrators of Color (NAAC) Boston and the City of Boston’s Asian-American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group. Audrey is a member of the 2023 cohort of the American Repertory Theatre’s Arts & Cultural Organizational Management program with Harvard University. An active member of the Greater Boston theatre community, Audrey has directed both fringe professional and educational productions, including work with the Pao Arts Center, Praxis Stage, Clark University, and Westford Academy Theatre Arts.

“Audrey comes to this role with passion, knowledge, and experience in the performing arts sector. Her experience building relationships and designing responsive programming will be an asset as we continue to expand our impact in New England; we are excited to have Audrey on board,” said Adrienne Petrillo, senior program director, New England Presenting & Touring.

Audrey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies and Arts Management from Emerson College. A lifelong Massachusetts resident, she now calls Allston, MA, her home.
